first color draft
Maximum 2 colors are allowed, without counting the white as blank.
The question to make a decision is always same.
Does it communicate the subject of the poster?
- in this case - Metamorphosis
The 1st color combo wins the race and starts the fine tuning
for both fore/background and text colors.
When both title and author information are colored white,
none of them is visible.
When outlined, the text doesn't seem clear enough.
This is one of the options but I'd rather not tear off the title
into two different colors. 'Metamorphosis' & 'and other stories'.
I didn't try to isolate a single element uses different color
but these seem better off so far.
After a critique with the professor Kim,
2 points were improved.
1. white color adjustment to be off-white which goes well with the other colors
2. The publisher information is too neglected -> change both the size and location
since the 1st test print was with much magenta and lack of yellow
compared to the monitor version, the 2nd test print was with
much more variations.
The first bottom combination was the best match with what I intended.
Final print is on the process )))))
